Foreign currencies have always been volatile. The US Dollar has almost doubled in the past 10 years, whereas the UK Pound has been falling since the exit of the UK from the European Union. The Euro, on the other hand, has remained mostly stable over the past decade . But in the past few years, the currency charts indicate a constant rise in the Euro. The Euro has increased almost 10% in just the past few months. The increasing currency rate has made Europe even more promising for people who are looking to build a professional career abroad. Town in Switzerland offering €60,000 to young people to live there

Switzerland is one of the most expensive countries to live in the entire world. With the strict immigration laws, finding a job and living in Switzerland is not that easy. But to everyone’s surprise, a Swiss town is offering young people €60,000 to live there. This has come up due to the rapid population plunge in the Swiss town of Albinen. Last month, the only school in the locality closed down because only seven children live there. After this, the fed up locals filed a petition to the mayor of the town to attract new families so that they can repopulate this Swiss town. The town’s population has declined so much in the past decade that now only 240 residents live there. The numbers are decreasing day by day due to the migration of the people to the big cities in recent years. The town is offering anyone who wishes to move here 25,000 CHF(€21,500), with an additional 10,000 CHF(€8,500) per child. So, a family of four can get a sum of €60,000 if they meet the criter...

The four main provinces in this region are Barcelona, Girona, Lleida and Tarragona. The Catalan Independence Referendum was held on 1 October, 2017 in the Spanish autonomous community of Catalonia. Earlier in September, the Catalan government held a vote for the independence of Catalonia from Spain. But due to the Spanish government’s suppression, only 43.03% could turn up for voting. The referendum question, which voters answered with “Yes” or “No”, was “Do you want Catalonia to become an independent state in the form of a republic?”. The “Yes” side won, with 2,044,038 (92.01%) voting for independence and 177,547 (7.99%) voting against. But due to the police crackdown, more than 770,000 votes were not cast as people didn’t leave their houses to go for voting. Also, 1066 civilians and 11 agents of the National Police an...
